When the company falls under one of the following object business types or 5 facilities, the plan should be submitted.

Pursuant to revision of Article 2-2 and 33-2 of the 「Enforcement Decree of the Occupational Safety and Health Act」 (Jan. 26, 2012), the objects to submit a hazard prevention plan are expanded to 10 business types and business place with less than 5 workers. ※ However, in the case of a business place with less than 5 workers, the plan should be submitted only when the equipment is installed.

When the whole structure, machinery, apparatus and equipment of a company leading one of the following business types of which the contracted electric capacity is 300 KW or more are installed, moved or changed:

These are the business types pursuant to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification Table (9th revision in 2007), and as to the sub-class business type codes (5 digit codes) and business type titles, please refer to the Web Site of KOSHA (www.kosha.or.kr)

When one of the 5 facilities prescribed by an ordinance of the Ministry of Employment and Labor is installed, moved or changed in a business place of all the business types:

• When a melting furnace bigger than capacity 3 ton is installed, moved or changed

When chemical equipment (special chemical equipment) which handles more than the standard volume specified in Attached Table 9 of the Rules related to the Standards for Industrial Safety and Health is installed, moved or changed

• Reactor which involves a heat generating reaction: A reactor into which a cooling medium can be input in order to remove the heat of reaction
• A device which carries out separation such as distillation, rectification, evaporation, and extraction by being operated within the concentration which does not cause an explosion inside the equipment.
• Equipment operated in the condition where the temperature of the heating material is higher than the decomposition temperature or the ignition point of the dangerous material heated (a reactor into which a heating medium is input)
• Equipment which has a risk of generating dangerous materials by abnormal chemical reaction such as runaway reaction
• Equipment operated at a certain high temperature or high pressure
• Chemical heating furnace (heater)

When drying equipment of which the maximum fuel consumption of the heat source per hour is bigger than 50 kg or the maximum power consumption is bigger than kW is installed, moved or changed

When a welding device with a fixed type shared gas storage of which the aggregated amount of flammable gas is 100 kg or more is installed, moved or changed

• When a local ventilation device (excluding mobile types), sealing equipment or a total ventilation system installed to seal or remove the discharging source of gas, vapor or dust coming out of the 49 object materials of safety inspection is installed, moved or changed (air distribution volume of 60 ㎡/minute or more)
• When a local ventilation device (excluding mobile types), sealing equipment or a total ventilation system installed to seal or remove the discharging source of gas, vapor or dust coming out of the 49 object materials of safety inspection or installed in the place dust work is carried out is installed, moved or changed (air distribution volume of 150 ㎡/minute or more)
