Vortex Mix Wet Scrubber

Principle

In a Vortex Mix Scrubber, vortexes are formed using an infringement plate and directly contact dust and pollutants to absorb and remove them.

Advantages

  • It is easy to maintain and repair the equipment as the composition of the equipment is simple.
  • It has little risk of being clogged with dust as there is no cleaning liquid injection nozzle or a packed bed.
  • The maintenance cost can be minimized as there is no pump for cleaning or a material to be filled.
  • It is easy to adjust the water level of the equipment depending on the type of flowing-in dust.
  • In addition to the above features, it can treat pollutants at high efficiency.
  • It is an environment prevention facility which can substitute the existing packed tower.

Fields of application

  • Water soluble harmful gas
  • Chemical process that discharges RESIN
  • Coal transferring process in a thermal power plant
  • Viscous dust discharging process
  • Plating, textile, paint, semiconductor processes
  • Various VOCs generating process
  • Offensive odor generating process
  • Petrochemical process

Rotating Disk Scrubber

Principle

A Rotating Disk Scrubber is a device produced by combining a Cyclone and a Wet Scrubber, in which the gas flow containing dust forms a cyclone and enters into the Wet Scrubber to remove granular pollutants including gas after passing through the rotating layer.

Advantages

  • The filling material replacement cost is reduced by using a rotating disk.
  • The clogging problem of filter and packed bed has been resolved

Fields of application

  • Plating process
  • Metal dissolution gas process
  • Facilities posterior to an incinerator
  • Various other harmful gas processes

Scrubber

Outline

Equipment that treats pollutants such as harmful gases, chemicals, fumes, and mists with a high solubility by a wet treatment method

Principle

In a Scrubber, gas contacts the absorption liquid, when the soluble ingredients are dissolved into the liquid removing the pollutants in the gas.

Advantages

  • Pollutants can be treated using diverse absorption liquid depending on their characteristics.
  • The pressure loss is small as it does not use filter treatment method.
  • Diverse pollutants such as high concentration gas, dust and mist can be removed at the same time.
  • The facility can maintain constant removal efficiency even though there is a change in the gas flow.

DIsadvantages

  • Issue of freezing prevention
  • White smoke problem
  • Second pollution problem (generation of wastewater)
  • Plugging problem of the bed and plate
  • It has a high pressure loss, requires high power, and may be corroded or eroded. (The degree of corrosion or erosion depends on the material quality.)

Fields of application

  • Chemical plant, textile factory
  • Plating plant
  • Wastewater treatment plant
  • Excreta treatment plant
  • Offensive odor generating business place
  • Fine particulate matter, harmful gas, VOC, and fume generating business place
